<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently decompose dioxins and lower their concentrations by heating a treatment object matter in a low-oxygen atmosphere by a high temperature gas and intermittently rotating or continuously and horizontally moving the object matter below a treatment object matter charge opening. SOLUTION: While a decomposition pot 45 of a rotation section 50 is being rotated, fly ash and solid constituents are fed through a supply opening 34 and residues are fed through a residue supply opening 33, and simultaneously a high temperature circulation gas is fed from a plurality of circulation gas supply opening 35, 35 through a bottom lid 46. The rotation section 50 is rotated in a low-oxygen high temperature atmosphere so as to heat a treatment object matter by the circulation gas. Then, the bottom lid 46 is opened about a hinge 46a, and treatment-completed residues 36 are taken out and guided to a water- sealed tank 23 through a residue discharge passage 22 and quenched or is guided to a cooling chamber 38 through the residue discharge passage 22a and quenched by N2 gas. By this method, the quantity of dioxins contained in the residues, fly ash and solid constituents is lowered.</p> |
