PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent interference of slats and a guide rail and occurrence of a gap between the lower end of a door body and the lower end edge of a frame and further, reduce a winding-up force by providing a positional adjusting mechanism horizontally retaining the winding-up shaft in the shutter. SOLUTION: A vertical position adjusting mechanism 20 is provided between the right and left frames 2 of a shutter 1 and a box 5 rotatably supporting a winding-up shaft 4 of a door body 3. First, the indoor side lower end of the box 5 is placed on the mounting parts 2b of the right and left frames 2 and a fitting piece 5a is fixed to respective fixing parts 2a. Then, a bolt 23 is inserted in an oval hole 22 of the position adjusting mechanism 20 and the winding-up shaft 4 is levelled by vertically moving it within a range of an adjusting allowance and fastened to holes 21 to fit the box 5 to the frame 2. When carrying out the horizontal adjustment of an existing winding-up shaft 4, the bolt is made loose to vertically move the shaft within a range of an adjusting allowance. Since the winding-up shaft 4 is kept horizontal, interference of slats 3a and a guide rail 6 is prevented and a gap between the bottom slat 3b and a flashing 7 is not generated and further, the winding-up force of the door body can be reduced.
