PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door for a window which is formed to be flush with a floor face and provided with a sub-window to allow a pet to pass through it even when the sliding door is closed but not to allow outsiders to trespass. SOLUTION: A small frame 2 is attached to the lower part of an aluminum sash sliding door 1 body, and a fixed glass door 3 and a movable glass door 4 are slidably fitted in the small window frame 2 so as to form a single sliding door. The fixed glass door 3 is positioned at the meeting side of the sliding door 1 body and fixed in the small window frame 2. The movable glass door 4 is positioned at the opposite side of the meeting of the sliding door 1 body and fitted in the small window frame 2. An opening having such a size as persons can not pass through it and also can not appreach a crescent when it is opened, is formed at the lower corner of the sliding door 1 body. In this way, outsiders are prohibited from entering the inside while allowing pets to pass through the small window even when the sliding door 1 is closed.
