VIBRATION CONTROL STRUCTURE OF BUILDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently ensure the original small vibration absorbing function of a viscous damper without excessively increasing rigidity of a reinforcing member provided with an elasto-plastic damper and the viscous damper. SOLUTION: A main frame 14 forming a frame structure by columnar members 10, 10a and beam members 12, 12a are constructed rectangular. A stud 16 is erected in a center part of the beam member 12 forming a lower side of the main frame 14. A top part 16a of the stud 16 is connected to a part in the vicinity of an end part of the beam member 12a forming an upper side through a viscous damper 18 and an elasto-plastic damper 20. The viscous damper 18 and the elasto-plastic damper 20 are arranged in series so that the viscous damper 18 on the stud 16 side and the elasto-plastic damper 20 on the main frame 14 side.
