PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an A/T lever shift device having a coupling part of a lever assembly, which can be molded without extra man-hours, with a high degree of accuracy after the molding, having high stiffness. SOLUTION: An A/T shift lever device for a vehicle, comprises a base plate, a shaft 20 rotatably fitted in a longitudinal direction in a hole formed in the base plate, a lever assembly 30 having, in its lower part, a coupling part which is coupled to the shaft 20 so as to be laterally rotatable, and a shift lever 40 coupled to the upper part of the lever assembly 30. In this arrangement, the coupling part 31 of the lever assembly 30 is formed in a frame-like shape surrounding the entire periphery of the shaft 20.
