PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide multi-stage shift positions without interference between steered wheels and a belt transmission device which overlaps with steered wheels as viwed in a side view, in a running vehicle in which an engine and a transmission casing are longitudinally arranged, and power transmission is made from a transverse output shaft of the engine to a transverse transmission shaft through the belt transmission device. SOLUTION: In a running vehicle body, a belt transmission device including a plurality of shift belt units 21 (23) in which a plurality of transmission belts V1A, V1B (V3A, V3B) are wound on pairs of lateral transmission shafts 40, 41 (55, 58) so as to obtain different transmission ratios in order to shiftable at several stages by turning on and off transmission through these transmission belts, and which are arranged being laterally overlapped with one another.
