PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost image processor for performing a high speed image data processing with high accuracy. SOLUTION: This image processor comprises an image inputting/connecting means 1 capable of being connected to an external device, a first setting means 2 for storing control information designated by an external central processing unit, a rough-controlling means 3 for controlling an output timing of an image by a predetermined pixel unit based on the set information of the first setting means 2, a control means 4 for executing receiving and sending of image data transmitted from the external device and controlling the whole system based on the control information designated by the external device, and a first memory means 5 having a plurality of independent memory regions each of which stores image data and is controlled by the control means 4. It further comprises a second setting means 6 for storing control information designated by the central processing unit, a fine-controlling means 7 for controlling the output timing of the image by a pixel unit smaller than that by the rough-controlling means 3 based on the set information of the second setting means 6, and an image outputting/connecting means 8 for transmitting the image data processed with the image processing to the external device.
