PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic recording apparatus having an electrostatic latent image forming means for forming an electrostatic latent image on an image support and a developing means for developing the electrostatic latent image by charged developing particles, simple in constitution and capable of being reduced in cost. SOLUTION: Respective parts of a cam 13, a support guide pin 6, a front support pin 3 and a rear support pin 4 are constituted so that the dimensional relation of them corresponds to two formula of dimension A16 < dimension B17 and dimension C18 < (dimension D19-dimension E20) and, since a head can be attached and detached in a parallel direction with respect to a recording medium, apparatus constitution is simple and the attachment and detachment of a latent image forming head by maintenance can be easily performed.
