PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit the contriving of improvement of prevention of deformation as well as the yield of products and contrive the improvement of a strength by discharging expanded air upon forming quickly to the outside of a panel. SOLUTION: A sandwich panel is equipped with a pair of surface plates 1, core members 3, interposed between the surface plates 1, and a frame member 2, interposed at least at the side parts between the intermediate part and the side parts of both surface plates 1. In this case, projected parts 4, contacted with the core members 3 respectively, are formed at the terminal parts of both surface plates 1 in the side surface of the frame member 2 and one or a plurality of sites at the intermediate part between both terminal parts while vent passages 5, communicated with the outside of the panel, are formed between the projected parts 4. According to this method, expanded air upon forming is discharged quickly to the outside of the panel to permit the contriving of prevention of deformation and the improvement of the yield of products while the improvement of the strength of the panel can also be contrived.
