PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent seizure and also to equalize the load allovcation to each screw thread of a nut. SOLUTION: A flywheel 12 is forward rotated by a flywheel mechanism 100, this forward rotational force is transmitted to a screw shaft 1 and, when the screw shaft 1 is forward rotated, the nut 3 which is fit to the screw shaft 1 is lowered. Thus, a die 7 is lowered toward a die 9 and press working is performed. When the press working is completed, the nut 3 is elevated by oppositely rotating the screw shaft 1 by a screw reversing mechanism 200. The nut 3 is divided into two by being cut in the radious direction in the middle part in the axial direction. Thus, deffects at the time of casting the nut 3 are reduced, the accuracy of thread cutting is improved and seizure is prevented.
