PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily restore to mold surface shape after releasing with an increase in a critical elongation of a skin by supplying a thermoplastic polyurethane resin powder obtained by reacting an MDI polyisocyanate with a polyol to a heated slush mold, melting the powder, and solidifying the powder by cooling to form a skin of the mold surface shape. SOLUTION: A thermoplastic polyurethane resin powder obtained by reacting an MDI polyisocyanate with a polyol is supplied to a surface of a heated slush mold and to a molten resin film by a heat of the mold surface. The film is then cooled directly by water cooling, air cooling or the like or indirectly with the mold, solidified in the state that the film becomes a predetermined thickness to form a skin, and then released from the mold surface. Then, a skin is strongly adhered to a protrusion and recess surface or the like of the mold surface. An adhering force of the polyurethane resin to the mold surface is large, and the skin is partly largely elongated at the time of releasing, but the polyurethane resin has an extremely large critical elongation to a permanent strain. Thus, at the time of releasing from the mold surface, even when the resin is partly elongated, it can be restored to the mold surface shape by its shrinkage.
