PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink tank containing at least one absorber in which roughness and fineness relation of the absorber resulting in a suitable ink supply can be sustained by subjecting the inner side face of the ink tank to satin finish. SOLUTION: Inner wall of an ink tank is subjected to satin finish at a center line surface roughness Ra (JIS B 0601) of 0.1-0.5μm. Since friction to a porous absorber 2 of urethane foam, for example, having rough surface is increased, the absorber 2 is prevented from being shifted from the inner wall of the ink tank by the elastic recovering force of the absorber 2 or an external impact of falling. Consequently, roughness and fineness relation of the absorber 2 can be prevented from being collapsed. Porous urethane foam, polypropyrene, or the like, is suitably employed as the absorber 2 composing an absorber 5 impregnated with ink, and beads blasting is suitably employed for satin finish. |
