PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low profile base isolation restoration mechanism exclusive for reforming a detached house capable of effecting the base isolation of even an old house by a low profile base isolator and a resonator installable when reforming a house. SOLUTION: A foundation side substrate 10 having a slip stopper 5 is provided on a lower surface, and an intermediate plate 7 having holes 11 for accommodating steel balls 8 to allow the steel balls 8 in a rolling manner is provided on an upper part of the foundation side substrate 10 so that the steel balls 8 can be rolled in the hole 11 for accommodating the steel balls. The height of the intermediate plate 7 is smaller than the diameter of the steel balls 8, and a ground sill side substrate 6 having the slip stopper 5 on an upper surface above the intermediate plate 7 and the steel balls 8 and chamfered part 12 on a lower circumferential part comprises a low profile base isolator which is provided so as not to be fixed but to be freely moved in the longitudinal and right-to-left direction in the horizontal plane on the steel balls 8, and a substrate having a through hole for bolts and a spring. The through hole for bolts is provided on the sill side of the substrate, while the spring is provided on the foundation side of the substrate, and the substrate comprises a restorator folded so as to ensure the space from the foundation to which the spring works.
