PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the slippage of the return position of a mirror caused by the repeat of reverse operation by storing the mirror position set in a mirror position in general operating state as a mirror original position in a memory, and invariably returning the mirror to the mirror original position. SOLUTION: When a driver laterally or vertically performs the manual operation of a mirror in general operating state, the mirror position set by the manual operation is stored as a mirror original position in a memory. It is judged whether the vertical direction position data and horizontal direction position data in the present position where the mirror is moved to the mirror original position are conformed to the vertical direction position data and horizontal direction position data in the mirror original position stored in the memory (S58). When it is conformed (S58 Yes), the initial state is returned to, and when it is not conformed (S58 No), the mirror is returned from the backward confirming position to the mirror original position (S48-S58).
