SOLUTION: In a dish washing and drying device 1 that jets a cleaning liquid to things to be washed using a pump 12 driven by a motor 11, the motor 11 and the centrifugal pump 12 are covered with a cover 15, and communicated with the outside by cylindrical bodies 16 and 17 extending in the internal space of the cover 15 along a prescribed length, thereby introducing cooling air to prevent the motor 11 from overheating and operating sound of the motor 11 and the centrifugal pump 12 from leaking toward the external space outside the housing 2.
