PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily work a hollow part while making suitable of the thickness in the hollow part for cooling water even in the case of being the large outer diameter of a plunger tip. SOLUTION: The plunger tip 9 for pushing molten metal in a sleeve into a cavity, is fitted to the tip part of a plunger rod 11 through a joint 13. In the plunger tip 9, the hollow part 9b for supplying the cooling water from a water supplying tube 15 held in the plunger rod 11, is arranged. The inner diameter D2 of the hollow part 9b is formed as almost the same inner diameter (d) of a female screw part 9a for screw-connecting with the joint 13.
