摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a composite body of hydroxyapatite and titanium excellent in bioaffinity and moreover provided with sufficient mechanical strength and to provide a producing method capable of producing this composite body by a simple method. SOLUTION: In a composite body 10a of hydroxyapatite and titanium having a mixed layer 103 contg. hydroxyapatite and titanium or a titanium alloy and a titanium layer 105 composed of titanium or a titanium alloy, at least a part of the composite body 10a is provided with a double structure in which the mixed layer 103 positions at the inside of the titanium layer 105. It is preferable that the titanium layer 105 and the mixed layer 103 are arranged on a concentric circle. Moreover, the composite body 10a is formed preferably by a discharge plasma sintering method.
