PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tip for an applicator capable of obtaining the emission of a coating soln. stable with the elapse of time by preventing the damge of a pen point and capable of obtaining the good emitting feeling of the coating soln. SOLUTION: In a tip for an applicator constituted so that a ball seat for placing a ball is formed to the ball holding chamber provided to the leading end of a tip and the ball is held in a freely rotatable manner by caulking the leading end edge of the tip is caulked inwardly by first caulking processing and second caulking processing in such a state that a part of the ball is protruded from the leading end of the tip by pressing the rear surface of the ball to the inner wall surface of the leading end edge of the tip directly or through a pressing element by a coil spring, a first caulking angle is set to 60-100 deg. and a second caulking angle is made larger than the first caulking angle and the protruding length J of the ball protruded from the leading end of the tip in such a state that the ball is placed on the ball seat is set to 20-30% of a ball diameter A. |
