PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain rust prevention and corrosion inhibition at the inside face of a metallic tube which can not be viewed from the outside and difficult in access for a long time without requiring any treatment, to the inside of a metallic tube, by filling metallic fine pieces having a standard electrode potential baser than that of the material of this metallic tube. SOLUTION: At the inside of a pipe column 1 made of steel raised to foundation concrete 2, a pipe-shaped insert 3 having a size smaller than the inside diameter thereof is arranged. This insert 3 is the one made of a resin, and in which the top part is provided with a semi-spherical cover 3a, and the outer circumference of the bottom part is provided with a collar 3b. The gaps between the inner wall of the pipe 1 and the outside face of the insert 3 are filled with fine metallic grains 4. As this metallic grains 4, the powder of metals such as zinc, aluminum, magnesium or the like or alloys thereof having a standard electrode potential baser than that of the material of the pipe 1 is used. In this way, the fine metallic grains 4 are made an anode to prevent corrosion in the cathode at the inside face of the pipe column 1, and, moreover, it is subjected to anodic dissolution to form a hydroxide protective film, by which rust generation and corrosion generation at the inside face of the pipe column 1 are continuously prevented. |
