PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laver freshness-maintaining device capable of bringing raw laver into contact with sea water, preventing the wrongly cutting of the raw laver, surely maintaining the freshness of the raw laver, and preventing the deterioration in the quality of the laver by improving the agitation performance of the device. SOLUTION: Two screw blades 13 are disposed in parallel to each other in an agitation tank 11, and rotated so that the scrolling advance directions of the screws of the screw blades are different from each other. Thereby, the mixture of sea water with the raw laver stored in the agitation tank 11 is downward guided by one of the screw blades 13 and upward guided by the other 13. Thus, the mixture liquid is vertically circulated in the agitation tank 11. The device for maintaining freshness of laver can give a sufficient agitation force even at a low rotation rate, surely mix and bring the sea water into contact with the raw laver, and surely maintain the freshness of the laver without cutting the raw laver. |
