PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of ambient environment by a method wherein even though garbage has stickiness, uniform stirring and sufficient drying can be executed, and malodor or the like is not diffused. SOLUTION: This garbage treating apparatus is equipped with a coarsely crushing mechanism 4 of garbage 3, a rotary drum 5 wherein the coarsely crushed garbage 3 is held and dried, an upper airtight room 6 containing the mechanism 4 and the rotary drum 5, a housing container 7 for housing the dried garbage 3, a lower airtight room 9 arranged at a lower position of the upper airtight room 6 via an intermediate door 8, and the housing container 7 is contained, and a hermetically sealed circulation pipe line 23 wherein malodor constituent and air containing moisture generated from the garbage 3 are lead out from the inside of the upper airtight room 6, cooled, heated, and then returned to the inside of the upper airtight room 6. In this case, a blower 24; a cooling means 25 for removing the moisture in the air, and a heating deodorization means 26 wherein the malodor constituent is removed while the air after removing the moisture is heated, are installed in the hermetically sealed circulation pipe line 23. |
