PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain, simply and economically, an extracellular bacterial protein having an esterolytic activity by isolating a nucleic acid molecule coding for an extracellular protein and so on from a corresponding bacterium, followed by expressing excessively in a heterologous Gram-negative bacterium. SOLUTION: This extracellular bacterial protein is obtained by isolating a nucleic acid molecule coding for an extracellular protein and a nucleic acid molecule coding for secretion apparatus such as a plurality of proteins from a corresponding bacterium, cloning those molecules in an expression vector, expressing those molecules excessively in a heterologous Gram-negative bacterium excessively, followed by isolating a protein from the culture medium. It is preferable that the nucleic acid molecule coding for the extracellular protein and/or the nucleic acid molecule coding for the secretion apparatus are/is stably integrated into a genome of a host organism. |
