PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage box for drawings or the like which can be taken out easily one by one, even when so many pieces of the box are put in a large-size case collectively and at the same time, has a lid free from such an insecure operation that the lid opens unexpectedly. SOLUTION: This storage box for drawings or the like is structured of a square tube 1, with a front side piece 2a which extends from one of the openings of the square tube 1 and is folded to the opening 3 side to block the opening 3 as a lid piece 4 and a contact piece 5, of the lid piece 4, which is formed by further extending the end part of the lid piece 4 and is folded to the inner side of the square tube 1 and comes into contact with the inner face side of a back side piece 2c. Further, through holes 6 are perforated on the end part of the contact piece 5 side of the lid piece 4. In addition, the back side piece 2c is extended as it is from the opening 3 to form a handle piece 8, the end part side of which is, in turn, further extended and is folded back to the opening 3 side to make the end part side serve as a retaining piece 9. Besides, projecting pieces 7 which fit into the through holes 6 are formed on the end part of the retaining piece 9.
