PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a phenomenon tapping a record material by a buffer plate and to reduce the degradation of the print quality due to the dispersion of toner and character blurring by providing a stopper prohibiting the absorption of the whole slacking quantity of the buffer plate. SOLUTION: In stopping the printing, paper feeding is stopped temporality in a position passing 0.35 in over a transfer point so that a record material 5 is slacked on a buffer plate 8 to form a clearance between the buffer plate 8 and the paper 5. The upper limit of the rotational movement of the buffer 8 is restricted by a buffer stopper 21 to a point F which is 2 deg.-3 deg. upper of the buffer quantity upper limit point D in running the paper, so that if there is the clearance between the buffer plate 8 and the record material 5, the buffer plate 8 edge is prevented from tapping the record material 5 by the restitutive force of a buffer screw recoil spring and the dispersion of toner and a blur generated area can be reduced to approximately 1/10.
