PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance force for restricting a person in a vehicle in case of the side collision accident by incorporating a resin-made energy absorbing pad where plural longitudinal and hollow cylinders are made into one body in parallel in a vertically long swelling part which is swelled as an in-vehicle person restricting side support part in the front side part of a seat back. SOLUTION: The energy absorbing pad 20 which is incorporated in the door side support part 1c of a seat back part 1b is constituted of a hollow resin body in a vehicle seat 1. The energy absorbing pad 20 is the hollow resin body with mesh on a transverse surface, where the plural longitudinal and hollow cylinders are made into one body in parallel. When impact force is added to a door 2 from a side part and the door 2 is deformed inward, an armrest part 7a intensively pressurizes the lower half part of the seat side energy absorbing pad 20, external impact force is absorbed while the respective cylindrical wall parts e, f and g in the lower half part of the pad 20 are compressed and destroyed in a width direction and, then, the underbelly part of the in-vehicle person is protected.
