PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a domestic garbage dehydrater for removing the moisture of garbage. SOLUTION: A tubular recess 5 is formed in the drain hole 3 of a sink, and a spinning basket 9 equipped with many through holes 7 is rotatably provided in the recess 5, to rotate the basket 9 by a motor 15 to open the upper end of the basket 9. A lid 27 for covering the upper end opening part of the basket 9 is detachably fitted to the upper end opening part of the recess 5, and a deodorizer 31, composed of a tubular part 33 and a top board part 35 for blocking the upper end of the tubular part and opened at the lower end, is arranged in the lower part of the basket 9 in the recess 5. The opening end 39 arranged from the recess 5 to outside is faced to the inner side of the tubular part in the deodorizer 31 in a condition so as to make the opening end 39 higher than the lower edge 33a of the tubular part.
