PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the racking method for pipet tips and utensil by which pipet tips are easily set on a rack at an extremely low cost. SOLUTION: Pipet tips are placed on the aligning frame 2 with grooves formed parallel by the number corresponding to that of the rows of the rack R at such spaces that the heads of the pipet tips P are detained and vibrated, and the heads are detained in the grooves and aligned. A pipet tip detainer 3 with the same number of the detaining pieces as the checkered housing holes protruded downward is positioned above the aligned pipet tips so that the respective detaining pieces 3K are coincident with the tips, then the detainer is moved downward, and the tips are detained by the pieces. Consequently, the tips are positioned coincident with the holes below, passed through the grooves of the frame and housed in the respective holes of the rack.
