PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the concentration of silver ion in bathtub water at a prescribed concentration or more, to filter the pollutant by the short-time circulation of the bathtub water, and to prevent the clogging of a filter device by stopping the operation of a circulation pump after forming silver ions in the bathtub water to purify the bathtub water. SOLUTION: After a prescribed concentration of silver ion is generated in bathtub water, a circulating pump is turned ON/OFF. Actually, the pump is turned OFF for time T, and the pump is then turned ON for time tb. During the time T of OFF of the circulating pump, propagation of bacteria in the bathtub water can be suppressed by the sterilizing effect of silver ions to prevent the rise of turbidity and generation of slime and odor by the bacteria. After the OFF operation of the circulating pump for the time T, the circulating pump is turned ON for the time tb to perform the filtration of pollutant coagulation. Namely, since the pollutant is condensed in the bathtub bottom part by the condensation effect of silver ions, the pollutant coagulation has a large effective volume and is easily filtered to shorten the filtration time.
