PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate troublesome operations to separate cigarette butts from water in a cigarette butt-treating vessel such as an ash tray or the like and simplify an after treatment by reducing smudges, thus eliminate troubles to frequently cleaning and exchanging water without evaporating bad smell even when stood for a long time in a housed state of cigarette butts. SOLUTION: In this cigarette butt-treating vessel, a cigarette butt-receiving vessel 12 and a water holding vessel 14 are laid on the bottom in a body case 10, a water guide material 20 and a cigarette butt-guide material 22 are installed over them and a cap 24 is covered. When a cigarette butt is put into the vessel from a cigarette butt input port 24b of the cap 24, the cigarette butt is guided with the cigarette butt-guide material 22 and naturally drops into the cigarette butt receiving vessel 12 by crossing water 15 naturally falling down from the water guide material 20 to the water holding vessel 14 and extinguishing fire of the cigarette butt.
