PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide water and ice for treating marine creatures, which enable us to commercially and easily retain freshness after their death. SOLUTION: Liquid for treating marine creatures comprises deep water of the ocean or water including it and ice for treating marine creatures is ice produced by freezing the water including deep water of the ocean. They enables the retaining of the K value of marine creature after their death so as to have <=20% even after passage of five days since their death. The liquid for treating marine creatures easily and efficiently retains freshness of marine creatures caught for a long term without special means for preventing freshness from deteriorating. The ice for treating marine creatures remarkably improves freshness retention in terms of time and freshness itself merely contacting with marine creatures before cold storage for a short period of time on top of that effect.
