<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent the feeding of unexpected paper sheets by providing each paper feed tray with paper type information of its paper feed tray and changing a paper feed tray having the same type of the paper sheets set therein as the selected paper sheet type of the paper feed tray. SOLUTION: When data transmitted through a printer driver is received (S1), whether there is any designation of a paper feed tray in the print designation is checked (S2), and if there is the designation, whether the paper feed tray is the same size as the paper size required the printing. (S3) And if it is the same size, the paper is fed from the selected paper feed tray. (S7) On the other hand, if the paper has the different paper size, a tray having the same size as the paper size required the printing is searched out of all the paper feed tray (S4), and when the paper feed tray for the same size paper sheets is found in the process, whether the searched paper feed type of the paper feed tray is plain paper or not is checked.</p> |
