PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical repairing method by facilitating repairing work by reducing cutting parts, without partially reducing the inside diameter of a bore cool hole. SOLUTION: A cracked part on the inside of a cylinder cover 2 is cut to the radius part of a bore cool hole 7, and a half pipe 8 is fitted and welded to the cut part. Preferably, a guide rod 9 fittable to the inside diameter of the bore cool hole 7 is inserted from an opening part of the bore cool hole 7 on the outside of the cylinder cover 2 prior to fitting and welding of the half pipe 8. More preferably, the half pipe 8 is constituted of the same material as the cylinder cover 2 or a metallic material having an expansion coefficient equal to the cover 2 and higher proof stress. |
