PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve appearance and facilitate correction work and increase economical efficiency by detachably attaching a cover for a steel sill to the outdoor side of the steel sill and covering respective outdoor sides of the steel sill and the upper part of a foundation. SOLUTION: A cover 34 for a steel sill has a sufficiently larger vertical width than the vertical width of the steel sill 11, and it is constituted of an oblique part 34a obliquely and upward bent to the indoor side at the upper end, a perpendicular part 34b bent upward from the upper end, a pair of upper and lower recesses 34c, 34d denting into the outdoor side, an inclined part 34e to the obliquely downward side, and an upwardly opened U-shaped bent 34f bent upward. The cover 34 for the steel sill is detachably fitted to the fitting part 38 of a bracket 35 through screw holes 34g formed in the recesses 34c, 34d by screws. In this way, the outdoor side of the steel sill 11 is concealed and hence, the appearance is improved. When correcting the obliquity, it can be easily and economically corrected by only removing the steel sill cover 34.
