PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a laver draining board capable of efficiently producing dry laver substantially without damaging the dry laver by knitting draining bars with draining yarns prepared by covering cores comprising a highly elastic material with synthetic fibers, etc. SOLUTION: This laver-draining board is obtained by knitting draining bars 2 with draining yarns 3, which each is prepared by covering a core comprising a highly elastic material [preferably having a recovery (elastic recovery) of >=80%] such as a 10-2,240 denier polyurethane yarn with a synthetic yarn such as a polyester yarn or a blended and twisted yarn of the polyester fibers with natural fibers. It is preferable to use as the covering material a blended and twisted yarn comprising 10-90 wt.% of cotton fibers and 90-10 wt.% of synthetic fibers such as polyester fibers or polyamide fibers. |
