PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide active oxygen erasing agent or aldose reductase inhibitor free from troubles such as tachyphylaxis or various side effects or the like observed in the case of medicines synthesized in conventional chemical process. SOLUTION: The active oxygen erasing agent or aldose reductase inhibitor is obtained by utilizing the ingredient originating from plants belonging to Albizzia, as the principal ingredient. These are effective for prevention and therapy of various diseases induced by oxidative lesion in organism, and effective for prevention and therapy for diabetic complication such as diabetic cataract, renal insufficiency, nervous lesion, arteriosclerosis or the like. |
