PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing synthetic yarns, capable of eliminating conventional problems on a spinning and direct drawing method and capable of simultaneously, stably and efficiently producing the many synthetic yarns having mechanical characteristics and thermal characteristics suitable for industrial materials. SOLUTION: This method for producing synthetic yarns comprises melt- spinning a thermoplastic polymer, passing the spun yarns comprising a plurality of yarns through a heating region just below a spinneret, cooling the yarns, taking off the cooled yarns on rollers 1, 1', drawing the yarns between rollers at several steps, winding the drawn yarns around heated final drawing rollers, and further subjecting the drawn yarns to a heating treatment under relaxation between the final drawing rollers 4, 4' and relaxation rollers 6, 6'. Therein, the heating treatment under relaxation is carried out in a >=400 deg.C atmosphere.
