PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute compression molding, in the case a magnetic substance with a donut disk shape used for a choke coil or the like is subjected to compression molding from a molding raw material using magnetic powder with a long granular shape as the main raw material, in a state in which the major axes of the magnetic powder are arranged along the circumferential direction as the donut disk shape, to make better the permeability of the magnetic substance obtained after the compression molding and to increase the performance in the case of being used for a choke coil or the like. SOLUTION: A molding raw material 17 is filled into a die 6 in which a core die 10 is incorporated, and a molding recessed part 11 having a cylindrical shape is formed around it, and, after that, on the core die 10, electric current A so as to run along the axial direction thereof is made to flow. In this way, the major axes of the magnetic powder in the molding raw material 17 are made parallel to the magnetic line of force generated so as to surround the core die 10. Then, in this state, compression molding is executed by a punching device 7.
