PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the necessity for the adjustment work of the number of revolutions of a screw by computing automatically a value making reference to the screw backward movement characteristics in the screw backward movement characteristic-measuring process and carrying out a resin metering process for the screw revolution in the setting of a screw number-of-revolution setting value in the resin metering process at the time of automatic operation. SOLUTION: A resin metering process is started, and whether the screw backward movement characteristics are measured or not is judged (S1). In the case of measuring, whether a screw back pressure setting value is varied or not is judged (S2). In the case of not varying, the number of revolutions of a screw is computed by using the screw movement speed in a screw backward movement characteristic mode, and resin is metered based on the computed number of revolution of the screw (S3). Also in the case of not measuring the screw backward movement characteristics, or in the case the screw back pressure value is varied, the metering of resin is carried out in the preset screw backward movement characteristic measurement mode to compute the screw movement speed.
