摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable high precision gear cutting machining by realizing high supporting rigidity for a hob cutter and vibration suppression for a rotating drive system in a gear cutting circuit unit for gear cutting machining attached to a machining tool with a low speed rotating mechanism for a work and a rotating tool shaft. SOLUTION: A gear cutting unit has a unit case detachably mounted to a machine tool, a connecting shaft connected to a tool drive shaft of a machine tool, a cutter shaft 11 connected to and driven rotationally by the connecting shaft through a gear train, and a hob cutter 10 for gear cutting mounted on the cutter shaft. A intermediate shaft 14 is provided in parallel with the cutter shaft 11, the intermediate shaft 14 and the connecting shaft are rotationally connected through a bevel gear pair 17, 18, and the intermediate shaft 14 and the cutter shaft 11 are rotationally connected through a reduction gear pair 19, 20, and the cutter shaft 11 is journalled to the unit case 1 on the both sides of the hob cutter 10 in the gear cutting unit. Flywheels 25, 26 are mounted to the cutter shaft 11.
