PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a device which prevents a plate from floating and transfers without causing a flaw to a plate and does not cause running defect by arranging a belt above a transfer roll and roughly in parallel with a plate transfer line and bringing the belt facing the plate transfer line and a tip part/tail part of the plate into contact. SOLUTION: A thickness meter protector 31 and an injection nozzle 32 are arranged at an outlet side of a finishing rolling mill 10, a belt 33 is arranged at an outlet side (downstream) and rougly in parallel with a transfer line 18. The belt 33 is arranged slightly above a transfer roll 1 of a hot line table 11 by facing the plate transfer line 18. A sproket 34 is arranged at an outlet side of the protector 31 and a sproket 35 in front of a water cooling device 16 (upstream side). These are set adjustable for its height. A tip part/tail part of a plate 6 facing the belt 33 are brought into contact with the belt 33. A water film is formed between the belt 33 and the transfer roll 1 and a plate is run on a water film, the plate is smoothly transferred without causing the plate up/down.
