PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically and efficiently enable rough dismemberment of poultry in high yield in no need of manual operation with a knife and a chopping board by separating slaughtered and eviscerated poultry into the upper half and the lower half and disjointing their thighs. SOLUTION: The normal main body of a slaughtered poultry is hung with a slaughtered body hanger 10 through both wings and the opposing fixing means is inserted into the opening in the slaughtered body from which the internal organs and the like are removed. The ischium and ilium are allowed to oppose to the conveying direction on the basis of the bottom edge of the hipbone and the body is fixed to the body holder without restraining its both thighs, and the body is transferred to the conveyer. A pair of left-right symmetric forming means and cutting means 33a, 33b that are driven synchronously with the conveyer are used to form crimps on the inner thighs, divide the crotch into two pieces, form crimps on the hip bone muscle and cut the joint muscles.
