GATHERING OF FISHES AND DEVICE THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more efficiently and profitably gather fishes with the reduced consumption of power than in cases using conventional white light sources by projecting specific blue light into water to attract the fishes to the region where the blue light 7 is projected. SOLUTION: This method for gathering fishes comprises projecting blue light 7 from at least one of blue light-emitting diodes and blue light laser diodes into water to attract the fishes to the region where the blue light 7 is projected. The device for gathering fishes comprises a light source 100 having light emitters containing at least one of blue light-emitting diodes and blue light laser diodes and used for projecting the blue light 7 into the water, and an electric source 2 having at least one of a power-generating means and a power storage means and used for supplying the power to the light source 100. The light source 100 is preferably immersed below the water surface to project blue light 7 into water.
