PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject kit for PCR having reduced carryover contamination by combining a mixture containing a modified deoxynucleoside triphosphate in which a modified PCR-derived amplification product is distinguishable from a target sequence with a means for removing the amplification product. SOLUTION: This kit is obtained by combining (A) a mixture of deoxynucleoside triphosphates in which at least one deoxynucleoside triphosphate is modified so as to integrate a PCR-derived amplification product with at least one modification so that the obtained modified PCR-derived amplification product is distinguishable from a target sequence with (B) RNAse, etc., as a means for selectively removing the modified PCR-derived amplification product and is useful for a polymerase chain reaction(PCR) type amplification method. The kit can, in an amplification method, economically and efficiently reduce carryover amplification product contamination so as to amplify a sample.
