BAFFLE OF AIR TABLE-TYPE DRY SEPARATOR UTILIZING SPECIFIC GRAVITY AND SHAPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a baffle structure by which the separation efficiency of an air table-type dry separator utilizing specific gravity and shapes is improved. SOLUTION: A baffle 4 has a height sufficient for waste plastic to stay as a bed. Further, the baffle 4 is placed in close contact with the side face place 3a of an inclined vibrating screen 2 on the lower side in the vibrating direction while a specified clearance 11 is formed between the baffle and the upper side face plate 3b of the vibrating screen 2. Hence the higher-sp.gr. plastics move smoothly downward along the inclination of the screen 2 orthogonal to the vibrating direction.
