PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease a bottoming feel while taking advantage of a high-density urethane material by providing the above mattress with a center core consisting of a first center core material which has rugged parts on at least either one of a front surface and rear surface and a second center core material which is laminated on this first center core material and consists of the high-density urethane material. SOLUTION: The shock absorptive mattress 1 consists of the basic constitution consisting of the center core 2, a center material 3 enclosing the center core 2 and side materials 4 further enclosing this center material 3. The center core 2 is arranged on the side of a person lying on the bed and is formed of the two-layered structure consisting of an upper layer 2a of a square flat planar shape consisting of the high-density urethane material and a lower layer 2b consisting of an ordinary urethane material. The lower layer 2b have the rugged parts 2b' on the front surface and rear surface and the upper layer 2a is supported by being adhered to the projecting parts on the rugged parts 2b' applied atop the lower layer 2b. The rugged parts 2b' are formed with many peak-shaped build-ups at equal intervals in a row direction and alternately in a row direction. While the additional improvement in elasticity is attained by providing the front surface and rear surface of the lower layer 2b with the rugged parts 2b', the provision of either of the front surface or the rear surface with the rugged parts suffices. |
