PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear surface plate attaching device for a desk capable of accurately and strongly attaching a rear surface plate to a supporting leg at a desired attaching angle and easily changing the attaching angle without increasing the number of components. SOLUTION: Not only the attaching angle to the supporting leg 4 of the rear surface plate 2 is easily changed respectively in plural steps by an engaging means 12a but also the turning of the rear surface plate 2 is permitted by using a receiving metal fitting 9 and a supporting metal fitting 8 which are the different bodies of the rear surface plate 2 and the supporting leg 4. Thus, the strength of a connection part is improved while rotation is made possible.
