<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an erroneous estimation by taking a road condition into account for estimating a driving orientation for a vehicle. SOLUTION: A driving orientation estimating device for a vehicle which estimates a driving orientation based on a driving condition of the vehicle is provided with a distance detecting means (step S1) which detects a distance to a corner, and a driving orientation estimating content changing means (step S2, S3) which changes an estimation content of driving orientation according to the detected distance to the corner. Since at the time of approaching a corner a manner of operating an accelerator pedal or the like is not immediately adopted as what expresses driving orientation, an erroneous estimation of driving orientation can be prevented.</p> |
