PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provided a directional stability device of hull with simplified structure of the entire device, which allows simple and easy assembly and disassembly, while allowing a compact storage of the sail when not in use. SOLUTION: A mast 50 is erected on a stern side of a hull 100 through a plinth 40. A top portion 51a of the mast 50 is supported by a plurality of stay ropes 31, 32, 33 in a stretched state. A sail 70 is installed on the mast 50 while foot portions of a pair of right and left branched sail 71 branching rearward from a luff portion 72 of the sail 70 are installed respectively to a pair of right and left booms 60 which are developable and rotatable in right and left directions independently. The mast 50 is rotatable about Y axis O-O against tension F of the stay ropes 31, 32, 33 on the plinth.
