PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt tension adjusting jig which is convenient for adjusting belt tension by swinging a pulley and facilitates the fixing of the pulley thereafter. SOLUTION: A tension adjusting jig 13 is positioning fixed to a stay 11 by inserting a positioning pin of the tension adjusting jig 13 to a positioning hole of the stay 11 in the vicinity of a pulley, a hook member 19 is drawn near to be hooked to a tightening bolt 10 of the pulley by operating a cylinder unit 17, and tension is given to a belt 5 by swiveling the pulley. Here, tension of the belt 5 is fixedly controlled by fixing a value of a load cell 18.
