PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device simple in structure, excellent in delivery performance, and simple in paper handling when both the sides of each paper are printed. SOLUTION: In an image forming part, since the paper feeding direction is opposite to the paper delivery direction, the paper is thereby delivered with its upside down with respect to the time of feeding. A paper feeding table 20 and a paper delivery table 21 are provided next to the image forming part while being adjacent to each other in such a way that they can be moved up and down. When a pinion 26 is driven by a motor 23, the feeding table 20 and the delivery table 21 are mutually moved up and down in the opposite direction by way of racks 31 and 33. Cassettes 40 are set for the feeding table 20 and the delivery table 21, and a feeding roll 60 capable of being rotated around the center of a shaft 63, and a switch 70 are provided over the feeding table 20. When the paper is lowered down in height after delivery is over, the feeding roll is lowered down so as to allow the switch to be turned off. The motor 23 is driven until the switch is turned on. The paper over the feeding table is printed on its lower surface, and is forwarded to the delivery table with its printed surface faced upward. After the whole of the papers are printed at their one sides, the cassette over the delivery table is left as is so as to be replaced with the empty cassette over the feeding table. By this constitution, double surface printing can thereby be performed without touching the paper having been printed.
